VIDEO – F1 Drivers Meet the Press in Bahrain

By  |

Hear Formula One drivers, in their own words, at Thursday’s press conference held before they take the track at the Sakhir circuit in Bahrain, by clicking here.

Felipe Massa(@MassaFelipe19), seated in the extreme right lower row, seems to be staring down the gathered F1 journalists until he’s asked a question about his performance in Melbourne.

Spain’s Fernando Alonso (@alo_oficial) is still suffering from broken ribs after his 46g impact with the HaasF1 car driven by Esteban Guttierez. Listen to him shrug off thinking about the risks of driving at the limit.

Max Verstappen (@Max33Verstappen), not happy with Toro Rosso’s handling of the pit, seems to have calmed down after his comments in Australia. But how do you really feel, young man?

France’s Romain Grosjean (@RGrosjean) is still a little chagrined that, due to the red flag stoppage two weeks ago, his crew never did a green-flag tire change. Still, he was delighted with the debut of the American-owned HaasF1 team. Earlier in the day, he tweeted that he remembers his first-ever podium, which occurred at the desert circuit.
