By  |

Formula One has a vast variety of races expanding the globe, include the return of the ‘European Grand Prix’ which will be held at the Baku City Circuit in Azerbaijan on June 19.

The street circuit looks to become the next statement event on the schedule, with the cars racing right alongside historic landmarks in the city. The anti-clockwise layout runs six kilometers in length, design by Hermann Tilke. Tilke has design other circuits including Hockenheimring, Circuit de Catalunya, Nurburgring, Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, and Fuji Speedway in Japan.

Series officials released a preview of the circuit on YouTube.
