F1 Launch Dates Set
While there may be just over 40 days until the beginning of the Formula 1 sesaon, things are about to get interesting.
With the new regulations set for 2019 and sponsors in place, teams will begin to unveil their new cars over the next couple of weeks around the world.
Interestingly, one of those launches will be taking place in North America, courtesy of the Racing Point F1 team. This is due to Canadian Lawrence Stroll being one of the team’s biggest investors, having bailed out what was known as Force India from financial issues.
While the launch takes place at the Canadian International Auto Show, eyes around the world will be focused in two other locations as February 13 has become one of the hottest dates.
The Americans will begin the launch, with Haas F1 team opting to showcase their new car in London, England on February 7. It follows a trend as they were the first team to reveal their car last season, as well.
There are high hopes for success for Gene Haas’ outfit as they have continued to claw their way up the grid, with Kevin Magnussen scoring 12-points paying finishes in 2018.
