After placing fifth in the year-end Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda rankings, Calvin Ming will return to Pabst Racing for another season. The South American will pilot the No. 21 MPS and APAN sponsored entry.

“I feel confident going into the 2018 series after having a successful 2017 season with the team,” said Ming. “I have learned quite a lot from working with them last year, and I am confident that they can provide me with a very competitive car throughout the season this year.”

Over the course of 2017, the 22-year-old scored 10 top-10 finishes, including four podiums.

“My goal for this year is simply to take everything I have learned from working with the team last season and apply those same techniques to the best of my ability in order to win the championship,” said Ming.

As previously announced, Ming will be joined at Pabst Racing by Lucas Kohl and Rasmus Lindh.

“We are thrilled to have Calvin returning for 2018!” said Pabst. “It confirms to me that we did our job as a team correctly in 2017, which is why he chose to return with our team.  Calvin is another stellar addition to the finest driver lineup we ever could have hoped for.  Welcome back Calvin!”
